Okigwe Senate: Cleric tips Okewulonu not Ararume as Winner

Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the rescheduled Okigwe Senate election Chief Emma Okewulonu will emerge winner, a cleric has predicted. General overseer City Power of God Church Aba, Pastor Linus Nwagalezi in brief chat with our Reporter weekend informed that the PDP Candidate is more than favoured to win the contest because of the self-inflicted injury of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Imo state.

Nwagalezi who predicted Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s loss one year before the 2019 guber election in Imo state maintained that Gov. Hope Uzodimma, Sen. Ifeanyi Ararume and Sen. Rochas Okorocha’s personal scores yet to be settled are actually one of the reasons APC would find it difficult to make big impact that will earn the party victory in the Imo North Senate bye-election.

According to the man of God, PDP is intact though out of power but will naturally leverage on the crisis bedeviling the APC to emerge winner in the election.
Nwagalezi noted that Ararume’s desperation to run in every election in Imo state was another factor electorates are going to consider despite the crisis in APC.

“Sen. Ararume is a serial election contestant and coordinated loser in every election in Imo state since 2007. He ought to have seen the hand writing on the wall for a long time now and possibly sponsor his son or ally instead of making fruitless appearances each election period. He will lose out again this time to the PDP candidate Emma Okewulonu. Aside the crisis in APC, Ararume may not even win the contest because of political hard-luck which is a spiritual mystery he has refused to realize and work towards solving the problem”-the cleric stated.
