Leads revalidation exercise in his Avu /Oforola ward 1
The member representing Owerri West constituency and Leader of APC caucus Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi (Dele) has kick-started the APC membership registration and revalidation exercise in his booth 008, community secondary school, Olaukwu with a promise to ensure that his party wins any election in Owerri West any time any day.
The action Lawmaker said with the ongoing APC revalidation exercise , all the political parties in Owerri West have collapsed into the party, revealing that the local government area is now 90% APC.
Hon. Onyemaechi therefore assured His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma that his constituency is for him and needs not entertain any fear in that regard.
The APC membership registration and revalidation exercise which commenced in Owerri West last week witnessed massive turnout.
Lady Stella Chukwu, the registration officer applauded Hon. Onyemaechi for his efforts and commitment towards making the exercise a success. She thanked the lawmaker for providing all the necessary logistics for the registration while describing the turnout as impressive.
Speaking shortly after his registration, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi urged the good people of Owerri West to embrace this rare opportunity and join the ruling party.
” Egbe eji eje ogu ” as he is fondly called, described APC as the largest political party in Africa that will guarantee “Ndi Igbo” their rightful place in 2023.
The Oforola born legislator further maintained that APC has done much to gain the confidence of the entire south east and the zone must embrace the party if they actually desire to get the presidential ticket come 2023, he concluded.
Ward 1 leaders of the APC were all present as well, to revalidate their membership.
Other wards in Owerri West monitored by our reporter saw large turn out of people surging to get registered in order to obtain their membership cards. Some of them interviewed thanked and appreciated Hon. Onyemaechi for mobilizing well via publicity and resource wise towards ensuring that greater percentage of Owerri West adults joined the APC moving train.
