Abuse of Office:Blackmail won’t stop me from moving motion for Okorocha’s summon, probe – Onyemaechi

Says ex-Gov sponsoring fake news via his new media urchins to intimidate him

Member for Owerri West in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kanayo Onyemaechi (Dele) has reiterated his determination to move a motion aimed at summoning former Governor of the state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, insisting that Okorocha deserves to be probed for his atrocities, abuse of office and fiscal irresponsibility.

Onyemaechi who is the APC caucus leader in the State Assembly told Nigerian Newsguide weekend that he was irrevocably committed to bringing Okorocha on the floor of the House for him to answer so many questions not yet answered pertaining his eight year tenure of woes in Imo state. The Lawmaker revealed that since he indicated interest in summoning of the ex governor to the House via a valid motion, the Ogboko-born Senator had unleashed his new media urchins on him wherein they fabricate and churn out all manner of lies and fake news against him, adding that such fabrications and blackmail that exist only in the imagination of Okorocha and his attack dogs wouldn’t deter him from doing the right thing for Imo people.

The legislator who goes with the name Egbejiejeogu said one of such blackmails from Sen. Okorocha’s e-rats was that he (Onyemaechi) snatched away his cousin’s wife and took him to Abuja to establish stockfish business for her.

According to Onyemaechi, such story is not only false but cheap propaganda and fairy tale from a drowning man and his cohorts because he doesn’t have any cousin with the name Goodluck as stated in the fake news.

“Okorocha raped and milked Imo dry. He cornered a State University, Eastern Palm University sited in his community, he built estates in large expanse of land within and outside Owerri which he forcefully took from Imolites particularly Owerri West lands without compensation, among many atrocious acts.

All his children, in-laws and cronies are super rich, courtesy of the looting spree under his tenure.
Okorocha insulted the very sensibility of Ndimo by stating recently that he is richer than Imo state and it’s government.

Today Imo state government under Sen. Hope Uzodimma is out to make Okorocha pay back to Ndimo all he has made away with. And as a lawmaker, I must compliment the governor’s efforts in this regard. This is why I am out to sponsor a motion to summon him (Okorocha), and should he fail to appear before the State House of Assembly, we shall issue a warrant of arrest against him because he cannot be bigger than the entire state.”
