Hon. Uju lists achievements

inaugurates Coordinators of political support group

Member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Kingsley Uju has listed some of his achievements geared towards alleviating the hardship associated with the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

The Federal Lawmaker also promised to attract 50-100million naira projects for each autonomous community in his federal constituency before his tenure elapses.
Uju spoke in his country home, Umuorji, Egbema in Ohaji Egbema local government council during the official inauguration of Omeudo Reality Movement – most recent of the numerous political support groups of the lawmaker.

Listing some of his achievements, Uju said most passionate about them all, is the Market Moni Empowerment Programme that would benefit 200 women after their training which had already commenced.
The Federal Lawmaker who disclosed that he had started electricity project from Obokofia autonomous community to Umuorji, also informed that about 750 constituents were undergoing various training on computer, sewing and how to make detergent and promised to empower them with cash and start-up kits after their training.

Uju mentioned some of the projects he attracted as classroom blocks, roads, water borehole and solar street lights in communities like Agwa, Ejemekwuru, Orsuobodo, Ibiasoegbe, Obokofia, Asaa among others in his federal constituency.
According to the lawmaker, most of the projects were completed in less than a month and two weeks and some, nearing completion.

Uju said over 30 projects for his federal constituency were captured in this year’s budget and gave the assurance that work would commence on them soon.
Whilst promising of a robust empowerment programme in no distant time, Uju thanked his constituents for their continued love and support.

Earlier, the Director General, Omeudo Reality Movement, Dr. Gil Ogbonna, in his address, said the group is a movement for people with a common purpose, mission and vision. He boasted of about 7500 members and disclosed of plans to kick off LGA tour in March to woo more members.
Chief of Staff to the federal lawmaker, Amadi Ebenezer said he thought that all politicians were the same until he met Kingsley Uju, attributing the positive changes in his life and those of other members of Omeudo Political Family to the lawmaker’s compassionate heart.

The highpoint of the occasion was the inauguration of the State, LGA and Ward Coordinators of Omeudo Reality Movement and cutting of Hon. Uju’s birthday cake.
Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo, Member for Nwangele/Nkwerre/Isu/Njaba Federal Constituency, Ndaa Jude Ejiogu – former Imo governorship hopeful were among the dignitaries that graced the occasion.
