I built Rimrock hotel to reduce unemployment in Imo – Iheme

By Stanley Okehie

The Chief Executive of Rimrock Hotels Ltd, Oshieze Innocent Iheme has said that he built the hotel to reduce unemployment in Imo State.

Rimrock, the newest hotel in Owerri is located at Agoscent Crescent, behind Specialist Hospital, Owerri.

The world class hotel has Bar, Restaurant, Accommodation, Gym and Conference Hall.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after it was commissioned, the CEO said the establishment will reduce unemployment in the state.

Iheme said he did not borrow money from any bank to build the hotel neither did the state government assist him in the project.

The Naze-born politician attributed the reason why influential Imo citizens prefer investing outside the State to the high tax rate by the state government and agents working for land owners.

He argued that it was easier to invest in Abuja than Imo and suggested a way out.

Iheme urged Ndigbo to imbibe “aku ruo ulo” spirit.
