The entire Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) was thrown into a morning mood weekend following the sudden death of one her Episcopal fathers and retired Bishop of Ideato Diocese, Most Rev. Caleb Anaezionwuonyeogaegbu Maduoma.
The deceased Prelate also held sway as the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province for seven good years before his retirement last year after attaining the mandatory official retirement age of 70 years.
Details about the death of the Bishop was sketchy as at the time of this report but some sources say the man of God died weekend in an undisclosed medical facility after a very brief illness.
Aged 71, Most Rev Caleb Maduoma was the second Bishop of Ideato Anglican Diocese, having taken over from the first Bishop, Rt. Rev Godson Echefu who was buried early this year.
