2023: Why I aspire to be the President of Nigeria – Dr. Winning

Miffed by the security challenges ravaging the nation, hues and cries against the killings and banditry coupled with the anger and frustration among citizens, Amb. Dr. Solomon Uchenna Winning has thrown his hat to the ring in the race for the 2023 Presidential election, with a promise to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians again if he emerges victorious.

Dr. Winning who disclosed this to newsmen, weekend, during a familiarization visit to HRM Eze Dr. George Ugorji, Ohamere IV of Umuguma Ancient Kingdom, Imo State, promised to better the lots of Nigerians if given the opportunity at the polls.

“Nigerians are crying and weeping for a change and God has given me a divine mandate to come and wipe their tears”, Dr. Winning said while assuring to restore the core value system of the nation and uphold the founding fathers’ mandate.
Dr. Winning, who described his ambition as God’s divine mandate, expressed optimism that the many problems of the nation would be a thing of the past with him as the number one citizen.

The Bishop of Majesty Worship Embassy Churches also expressed his love and regards for culture and tradition, hence the visit to the monarch, which he described as one that would help him to achieve his ambition.
The clergy promised Nigerians to keep hopes alive that 2023 will be better for all.
HRM Eze Dr. George Ugorji, Ohamere IV of Umuguma Ancient Kingdom said Dr. Winning had been his longtime ally and prophet of God.
He noted that the task before the Presidential candidate is an arduous one but however prayed God to see him through.

Lending his voice, HRH Eze Dr. A.O Ozuruoha, Eze Chinyereugo 1 of Uwawuorieagu, Oguta Local Government Council described Dr. Winning as a good Christian with burning desire to lead the nation, adding that his coming onboard was timely, especially now that the clamour for a President of Eastern zone extraction is gaining momentum.

“To aspire for a president of a nation like Nigeria is not an easy task, but there is nothing one cannot do if God is with the person, Dr. Winning as a Bishop, I know, divinely, he has been anointed to be in that position”, Eze Chinyereugo stressed.
Other speakers at the special occasion including the President General of Umuguma Town Union – Mr. Darlington Benjamin Nlem, Woman leader – Mrs. Josephine Njoku spoke highly of Dr. Solomon Uchenna Winning and pledged their unalloyed support.

The highpoint of the visit was a prayer for the presidential candidate, Dr. Winning, offered by the traditional rulers at the event.
Among those who accompanied Dr. Winning to the visit were HRH Eze S.O Onuegbu – Eze Uguru Udomba 1 of Mbano Agwa Oguta LGA, HRH Eze H.C Azubuike – Ohanyere 1 of Uba Agwa, Oguta LGA, HRH Eze Sir B.O Ubah – Oluoha II of Mgbala Agwa Autonomous Community.

Others were Amb. Grace Newman – Nigeria Restoration Party (NRP) Special Duties and Strategy Officer, Chief Damian Ogoke, Hon. Chibuzo Okwu, Hon. Nwachukwu Victor, Rev. Philip Madu, Rev. Dr. Darlington Akujor.
