Media Relations Consultant, Chief Fidel Onyeneke has appealed to Journalists and other Media practitioners to desist from acts that will bring the journalism profession to disrepute.   Chief Onyeneke made the appeal in Owerri, while reacting to the recent bickering amongst the members of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Imo state which had negatively threatened the reputation of the body. He said that no matter the level of provocation, the interest of the Union remained paramount, and as such must be jealously guarded and protected.
