An Imo-based lawyer, identified as N.H. Nwankwo, Esq has been found butchered in his office located at 43 School Road, Owerri, Imo State.
It was gathered that Nwankwo went to his office on Saturday, but failed to return home prompting his family to call his colleague to check up on him. On Sunday morning, his colleague arrived at the office and saw blood traces on the locked door of Nwankwo's office. So, he immediately went to get the police to open the door and they found the lifeless body of the lawyer who was obviously butchered with a cutlass.
In a statement released on Sunday, February 7, Secretary of Imo State branch of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Chinedu Agu gave the chilling account of how the deceased was found dead in his office.

Gallant security operatives of Umuihugba Umuodu Autonomous Community in Owerri Municipal Council Area of Imo State, Saturday, arrested three thieves with stolen air conditioner and handed them over to the police.
