Obinze residents plead with Uzodimma to relax curfew in Imo

Residents of Obinze, a satellite settlement in Owerri, Imo state have appealed to Gov Hope Uzodimma to relax the curfew he imposed on the state as a result of the Endsars protests that recently turned violent and bloody. Some of the residents who spoke to our reporter Thursday complained bitterly about the way and manner soldiers harass and malhandle many of them especially on their way back from work immediately it is 6pm. According to them, some of them are health workers, traders, fuel station workers, fast food and restaurant workers, as such, it is a near impossibility for them to close work by 6pm and get home same time without being caught in the web of the curfew.
